The usual situation with the lettings market is that things quieten down in the winter months, as landlords look to avoid having their properties becoming available during a period that has fewer applicants looking. As usual this is happening this year, however, there appears to be such a lack of stock that the few landlords that do have their properties available now have multiple applicants competing for their properties. We have already started letting properties with move dates in January, with properties being let as soon as they come on the market. This has been because of our negotiator’s proactive approach to marketing and making sure that our applicants understand the current market conditions.
