About this development
Berkeley Homes purchased Aragon Tower in 2003, and by 2006, the Tower had been completely rebuilt, with 5 extra storeys of Penthouses erected on top. The building’s refurbishment received the Evening Standard New Homes Award for Best Conversion and was Highly Commended for Best New Apartment in 2006. The reconstruction was also the topic of the BBC’s BAFTA-winning documentary series ‘The Tower.’
Aragon Tower is currently 29 floors tall, making it one of the highest residential buildings in the UK, offering unrivalled views of London. Levels 2-24 house dual-aspect triplex apartments known as ‘Z Apartments.’ Penthouse homes with private balconies and patios may be found on levels 25-29.
The surrounding region is undergoing additional revitalization, with the massive Marine Wharf, Greenland Place, and Timberyard residential projects providing a plethora of new leisure amenities while also drawing new residents. The ancient Convoys Wharf property, just south of the Aragon Tower, has also been authorised for one of London’s largest redevelopment projects, offering restaurants, hotels, and new dwellings, as well as a riverfront extension of Deptford High Street.
